FAQ

drop off and pickup

Due to the restrictions regarding social distancing we are unable to provide bus transportation. Parents will need to bring their campers to camp at their designated time. There will be a health screening each day for campers upon arrival, which will include a temperature and symptom check. Prior to joining to their group, they will need to sanitize their hands.

What Activities are in the program?

We’ve created an abridged version of our usual dynamic program. The program includes swim instruction, arts, nature and sports/ movement. On Friday we will still have a Shabbat program as well.

How will it Work?

All of our units will be a self-contained group will be 10 campers and 2 counselors. They will stay together all day with their staff and not mix with our other groups. Safe social distancing guidelines will be adhered to.

PPE

Our entire staff will be wearing masks all day in accordance with the CDC guidelines. Children will be allowed to wear masks if they prefer but it will not be required due to the extreme heat in the summer.

Camp is not risk free but we have made every effort to increase all of our safety procedures and policies to minimize risk and give our campers an extraordinary summer.

Handwashing and Disinfecting

We will be conducting mandatory handwashing and sanitizing before and after every activity for every person on site and all equipment.  We have purchased portable hand washing stations to ensure that we have enough stations so it will not take a long time.

All equipment and supplies will be cleaned and disinfected in between groups. Only 1 group will be at each specialty area at a time. A designated team of cleaners will disinfect all program areas, bathrooms, equipment and office throughout the day.

WHAT TYPE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONAL WILL BE ON SITE

Camp will have a nurse on site at all times.

Security

Safety and security are our top priorities. While camp is in session we always have armed security on the campus. We have a staffed gate and visitors need to be buzzed in. During this COVID 19 time, no guests will be allowed onto the campus without prior authorization.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

All your child needs to bring to camp is a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, a water bottle and a nut free snack.
