Winter Classes


All grades

Fitness/Movement/Yoga – Each day of the week we will host a different class to get your body moving! We will have fitness, yoga, creative movement, and other sports skills.

Pre K – 1st Grade

· 10:00-11:00

 Story Inspired Art – Join Marta as she takes inspiration from our favorite stories. In this class we’ll transform stories into creative art projects.
2nd – 5th Grade:

Cooking – Come join chef Liora as we travel to the past to celebrate Hanukkah again by making latkes and donuts, and travel to the future to celebrate Tu Bishavat by making apple muffins and granola. We will also be making a favorite camp lunch, grilled cheese and tomato soup and ending the week with some festive New Year’s Eve sugar cookies. You won’t want to miss it! Can’t wait to see you there!

Mad Science 2.o – Join Antonia to learn about science through our interactive and hands-on science activities! This class will feature brand new content!  Whether you joined us in the summer or you’re tuning in for the first time, you don’t want to miss the exciting new experiments we have in store.

Podcasting 2.0 – Shai, a Sprout Lake alum, is back with podcasting 2.0! Join us in creating your own podcasting show. Each day Shai will lead a workshop and participants will work together to create their own podcasts. This class will feature brand new content! Whether you joined us in the summer or you’re tuning in for the first time, you don’t want to miss this opportunity!

Puppetry – Learn about one of the most creative forms of visual arts, performing arts, and storytelling… PUPPETRY! Breathe life into inanimate objects! Recycle and repurpose old materials in your house! Learn how to literally make a new friend! No previous experience required!

6th - 8th Grade

· 10:00-11:00

 Cooking – Yummy Treats with Lisa! Join Lisa in making baked treats that are as good for your tummy as they are for your heart. We will bake all kosher goods that can be vegan, or dairy free and allergen aware. The best part of baking is getting your hands into the work. So, let’s have some fun together in my kitchen!

Parsha Players – Be a part of Parsha Players, Sprout Lake’s show about the weekly Torah portion. If you love acting and comedy, then come along as we create this show together!

Israeli Tours – Join Israel Tours as we explore different aspects of Israeli life and culture. This program will be filled with fun and exciting discussions, games, and activities.

Art “Still Life with Different Media”– Join Anya for a fine arts class series. We’ll be drawing and painting still life using different mediums. We’ll learn to look at objects like an artist, discover light, shadow and shape. Anya will walk you through the process of sketching and will teach you different techniques using pencils, watercolors, ink and pastels.
