Every Camper Matters @ Sprout Westchester
At Sprout Westchester, every camper is seen, supported, and celebrated. Campers are organized into eidot (divisions) by grade, with each eidah often split into smaller groups for a more personal experience.
Each group is led by 2–3 madrichim (counselors) and overseen by a merakez (unit head)—an experienced adult staff member who ensures campers’ days are safe, engaging, and full of joy.
Our program is designed so that every child can thrive, grow, and feel connected. Campers spend their days participating in activities with their group, while also joining other groups for special programs and spirited camp-wide events.
A sample daily schedule might look like:
- Morning circle & tefillah (camp community time)
- Instructional swim
- Sports or adventure activity (gaga, ropes, pickleball)
- Arts & Crafts or Sabbah Time
- Lunch & chofesh (free play)
- Specialty activity (STEM, cooking, gardening, drama)
- Recreational swim
- Closing song session & camp-wide gathering
