Young Judaea
Since 1976, Camp Sprout Lake has been part of the Young Judaea Journey. From a camp of 100 campers, we have grown to over 400 campers every summer – a place where campers start their Jewish camping experience, and become part of a greater community where the connection to Israel is at it’s heart.
For over 114 years Young Judaea has been inspiring Jewish youth of diverse backgrounds to become engaged leaders and inspired activists with a deep personal connection to Israel. The YJ Journey includes seven summer camps across the country, year-round teen programming (YJ Teens), immersive Israel experiences, and a lifelong connection to Young Judaea. Programs are designed to build leadership skills, social responsibility, critical thinking, and a life-long commitment to Israel and leading change through their personal and professional pursuits.
